Welcome!
I’m Nicole Noemí, a Puerto Rican illustrator and graphic designer capturing life on paper with my watercolors, ink, and endless curiosity.
My sketchbooks are my kind of photo album — filled with moments I’ve lived, places I’ve traveled to and things that made me pause and admire life. Whether I’m sketching at a coffee shop or the beach, I draw from direct observation — fast, loose, and honest. That’s what being an urban sketcher is all about!
Back when I was living in Barcelona pursuing my master’s degree in illustration and comics, I took a class that changed everything. Thanks to an amazing professor, I discovered urban sketching, and I couldn’t get it out of my head. After years of searching for the artistic path that felt right, I found my way back to it and felt like home. Through urban sketching I have connected with nature, people, my culture and the world around me.
Before that, I earned a BA in Graphic Design from Atlantic University in Puerto Rico, a foundation that continues to complement my illustration work.
Now, I carry my sketchbook EVERYWHERE I go, always ready to capture what moves me.
